Day 1

Morning: 9:00 am

  • Begin your unforgettable Pooch-n-Peeps adventure as we depart from Perth and head towards the picturesque town of York. Our first stop is the York Olive Oil Company, where you can witness the olive pressing process and purchase exquisite olive oil products, fresh bread, and delectable ice cream.

Afternoon: 12:00PM

  • Arrive in York, just in time for lunch. Spend two hours exploring this charming historical town with your furry friend. Stroll through the scenic Avon Terrace, browse the unique shops, and enjoy a leisurely walk over the suspension bridge spanning the Avon River. Choose from a variety of delightful local eateries for a delicious lunch.

2:00 PM

  • Check into the stunning Hillside Country Retreat, your dog-friendly haven on the edge of York. Settle into your accommodations and then embark on a beautiful walk through the property’s expansive 1,000-acre grounds, offering a serene and picturesque landscape.

Evening: 6:00 PM

  • Hop on the bus to The Imperial Homestead Hotel for a delightful evening meal. Enjoy the cozy ambiance with a wood fire. After dinner, return to Hillside Retreat, where you can unwind by the open fire, share stories with fellow travellers, and bask in the warmth of a perfect evening.

Night

  • For those who love stargazing, take a brief walk with your dog before bed to marvel at the vast, star-studded sky, free from light pollution, on a crisp, clear night.

Day 2

Morning

  • Start your day with a refreshing morning stroll in the cool country air. Listen to the sounds of nature, including the cheerful call of a Kookaburra, as the fog lifts and the day begins. Continental breakfast supplied.

9:30 AM

  • Depart for Mt Brown Lookout, where you’ll be treated to stunning 360-degree views of York and the surrounding countryside.

10:30 AM

  • Travel to the historic town of Beverley, one of Western Australia’s oldest towns. Visit The Dead Finish Museum to explore artifacts showcasing the town’s rich history since settlement. Enjoy a leisurely walk along the Vincent Street Heritage Walk, absorbing the town’s charming atmosphere.

Lunch

  • Indulge in a delicious meal at one of Beverley’s local eateries or hotels, savouring fresh, locally sourced produce.

Afternoon

  • Relish the scenic drive back to Perth, enjoying the endless green pastures. We will cross the Bibbulmun Track and pass through the picturesque Canning Mills area, carrying with you wonderful memories of a rustic and rejuvenating country retreat.
