Day One
9:00 AM
Begin your unforgettable Pooch-n-Peeps adventure as we depart from Perth and head towards the picturesque town of York. Our first stop is the York Olive Oil Company, where you can witness the olive pressing process and purchase exquisite olive oil products, fresh bread, and delectable ice cream.
12:00PM
Arrive in York, just in time for lunch. Spend two hours exploring this charming historical town with your furry friend. Stroll through the scenic Avon Terrace, browse the unique shops, and enjoy a leisurely walk over the suspension bridge spanning the Avon River. Choose from a variety of delightful local eateries for a delicious lunch.
2:00 PM
Check into the stunning Hillside Country Retreat, your dog-friendly haven on the edge of York. Settle into your accommodations and then embark on a beautiful walk through the property’s expansive 1,000-acre grounds, offering a serene and picturesque landscape.
6:00 PM
Hop on the bus to The Imperial Homestead Hotel for a delightful evening meal. Enjoy the cozy ambiance with a wood fire. After dinner, return to Hillside Retreat, where you can unwind by the open fire, share stories with fellow travellers, and bask in the warmth of a perfect evening.

For those who love stargazing, take a brief walk with your dog before bed to marvel at the vast, star-studded sky, free from light pollution, on a crisp, clear night.
Day Two
Morning
Start your day with a refreshing morning stroll in the cool country air. Listen to the sounds of nature, including the cheerful call of a Kookaburra, as the fog lifts and the day begins. Continental breakfast supplied.

Depart for Mt Brown Lookout, where you’ll be treated to stunning 360-degree views of York and the surrounding countryside.
10:30 AM
Travel to the historic town of Beverley, one of Western Australia’s oldest towns. Visit The Dead Finish Museum to explore artifacts showcasing the town’s rich history since settlement. Enjoy a leisurely walk along the Vincent Street Heritage Walk, absorbing the town’s charming atmosphere.
Lunch
Indulge in a delicious meal at one of Beverley’s local eateries or hotels, savouring fresh, locally sourced produce.
Afternoon
Relish the scenic drive back to Perth, enjoying the endless green pastures. We will cross the Bibbulmun Track and pass through the picturesque Canning Mills area, carrying with you wonderful memories of a rustic and rejuvenating country retreat.
Pickup and drop-off locations will be announced once we know where participants are coming from.

Meeting New Doggo Friends
Meeting new dog friends is exciting for some dogs but can be a little daunting for others. Dogs experience their world through scent. It is perfectly natural for dogs to communicate, share time, and have fun with their own kind. This is similar to people, as some are better than others at meeting new people. It’s no different for a group of dogs meeting for the first time.
Group Size
Pooch-n-Peeps offers a unique experience where dog lovers and their dogs share wag-tastic moments with other like-minded people. So, grab your lead, grab your dog, and jump onboard Bernie the Pooch Pawfect Bus. All the window seats are reserved for pooches where licking the scenery is part of the journey! This tour accommodates a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 16 people and dogs.

Need to know
DOG HARNESS IS ESSENTIAL. Your dog must have their own harness and lead. Our pooch safety belt clips to your dog’s harness. This ensures all dogs are safe.
Unfortunately securing your dog by their collar has the potential for neck injury.
Minimum peeps age 18, minimum pooch aged 16 weeks.
All the window seats are reserved for pooches where licking the scenery is part of the journey!
You can have peace of mind knowing Bernie the Pooch-n-Peeps Bus is fitted out with the following:
- Pooch and peeps seat belts
- Pooch snuggle blankets
- Full climate control
- First Aid Kit with Vet Emergency details
- Water & bowls, poo bags, and towels
- Everyone must be healthy, no illness or anything contagious
- Your pooch must be well behaved and able to socialise with other dogs and people without the aid of a muzzle
- Able to walk on a lead with a group of other dogs who will also be on leads
- Two dog limit per person
- Harnesses only. No retractable leads or correctional collars because of potential hazards in group situations.
- No transfers or refunds will be accepted with less than 3 days’ notice and the participant will forfeit the full ticket price.
- If a tour is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control e.g., extreme weather events, we will work with you to find a suitable date in the future.
- We understand circumstances can sometimes change, to receive 100% refund we need to receive your cancellation in writing no later than 10 days before your tour date.
- If 10 days’ notice is not provided there is a $50 administration fee charged per booking.
- There are no transfers within 3 days of the tour date and 100% of the ticket price will be forfeited if you are not able to attend.
- Carefully planned seating means everyone gets plenty of room. We provide a wonderful safe, happy, healthy, and unique day out with your dog.
